As skilled craftspeople, plumbers are responsible for installing pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures for the distribution of drinking water, sanitary waste, stormwater, and more. After completing this program, each individual will receive a City of Cincinnati Plumbing license and a combination of the following licenses:
Pipefitters play an important role in the construction process by ensuring commercial piping systems are properly installed and operational. They lay out, fabricate, and assemble pipes from drawings and blueprints according to building specifications. Our program gives trainees the skills to install and service sophisticated equipment, state-of-the-art controls, and piping systems critical to important community and industrial infrastructure.
The HVAC/R industry is constantly evolving, and there is currently a high demand for skilled workers. Upon completing this program, trainees will have the technical knowledge to install, service, and repair industrial and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
